Nina Alvarez is a writer, editor, publisher, and award-winning teaching artist. She’s been published in many literary journals, has received writing awards for poetry and plays, had a one-act play go to full production, and has received a writing grant from New York and a writing residency grant from Vermont Studio Center.

As an editor and publisher, she has overseen the publication of over 40 books and literary journal issues. She is the founder of Dream Your Book author services, Canvas Teen Literary Journal, Cosmographia Books, and Camp Cosmographia. She has a master’s degree in English and lives in Rochester, New York.
