Frances Tepper is the author of the memoir Fair Lady: Memoirs of a County Fair Manager (Cosmographia Books 2021) and the romance-suspense After the Enchantment (Fair Lady Press 2022). She has published many columns and essays in local newspapers—and in the fair industry publication Fairs and Expos. She was nominated for “Best Local Author” in Rochester New York’s City Newspaper in 2021 and was inducted into the New York State Association of Agricultural Fairs Hall of Fame in 2022.

She is a popular speaker and regularly gives talks on the history of the Monroe County Fair, being a pioneer for woman in the fair management business, and the importance of fairs to their communities. She has spoken at book clubs, libraries, social clubs, writers' forums, and bookstores, and has been a presenter at conventions and meetings.
